After 15 years experience teaching English language, the founders of Indolearn developed an innovative teaching methodology to best meet the needs of students and turned traditional teaching into a Visionary Inquiry-Based Experience.
This approach encourages learners to explore and discover the language and culture through inquiry-based projects and activities that allow them to develop their critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity skills while learning the language.
We understand that every learner has their own vision and reasons for wanting to learn English. Whether it is for professional reasons or whether it is for university, Indolearn designs your activites so that they can be personalised to you own vision.
By having an inquiry-based approach allows learners to embark on projects to strengthen their English skills. Whilst practising for the exam, you have the opportunity to investigate how English play into your own context. Your personal projects might look like investigating university interview skills or developing metalanguage for your profession.
Learning English with Indolearn is an experience. It is a student-led learning experience where your tutors guide you on your journey. Exam practice will be incorporated into your independent projects and activities in Block 1 in order to develop your knowledge of the English langauge. In Block 2 there will more of a focus on exam structure and the individual parts of the exam. In this way your learning experience includes both a holistic approach to language learning that is personalised to your context as well as the more traditional exam practice. Throughout the whole process your assigned tutors will provide feedback to help you develop throughout the course.

At Indolearn we believe that you should be the protagonist for your own learning journey. That is why the course puts you at the focus and your tutors as the guides at the side. As a student at Indolearn, you will be expected to undertake activities independently and use feedback provided by your tutors to improve your own learning; you will not need to rely on anyone else to progress.

VIBE learners will not rely on timetabled tutor sessions but instead will receive personalised feedback from their tutors. Those who enrol will also have access to a community of VIBE learners with whom you will be able to develop your reading, writing, listening and speaking skills.

You will then receive an email to organise your free personalisation session where you will be assigned a tutor. In this session you will also receive more detailed information about the course and, on understanding your context, Indolearn will assist you in organising the best way to prepare you for success.
